Nurse with a solid professional background in both clinical care and research, I began my career working in hospital wards, emergency departments, and intensive care units. Since 1998, I have focused my work in the field of Preventive Medicine, actively participating in the prevention of biological risks, training healthcare personnel, and developing protocols related to patient safety and healthcare quality. Over the years, I have been a member of key clinical committees and have carried out teaching activities both in hospital settings and in collaboration with educational institutions and organizations such as EVES.

My experience is further enriched by a research career that includes scientific publications and conference presentations, many of them award-winning, focusing on infection prevention, healthcare worker vaccination, and bacterial resistance. In the academic year 2023–2024, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from the Miguel Hernández University, receiving the award for Best Master’s Thesis in the category of Occupational Hygiene. As an associate professor at the University of Alicante, I contribute to the training of future professionals with a practical approach and a strong commitment to continuous improvement in patient safety and quality of care.
