David Saavedra Pastor, born in Spain in 2001, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Engineering and a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity in 2024, both from the University of Alicante. He is currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the same university, where he develops his research in artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor networks. Currently, he holds the position of Collaborating Researcher in the Department of Information Technology and Computing (DTIC) at the University of Alicante.

He collaborates in the project ‘Preventive maintenance of digital infrastructures through the application of Artificial Intelligence for the diagnosis and prediction of anomalies’, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, with a planned duration from 2024 to 2027.

He has published several papers in international journals and conferences. Among which is the article ‘Design of A Distributed and Highly Scalable FOG Architecture for Heterogeneous IOT Infrastructures’, published in the International Journal of Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering in 2025. He has also presented papers at national and international conferences, such as the I International Congress on Educational Artificial Intelligence in Alicante (2024) and the 2nd International Conference on Evolutionary Artificial Intelligence (ICEAI 2024).
