I hold a PhD in Astrophysics from the Universidad de La Laguna / Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad de Chile. My career bridges scientific research, applied technology, and large-scale data management. After defending my doctoral thesis on telescope data analysis, I specialized in Data Science in London and worked in the tech sector as an IT consultant, gaining solid expertise in database management and software systems.

Currently, I combine university teaching as an Associate Professor with my role as a Senior Investigator at the Universidad de Alicante. My work focuses on applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to massive astronomical datasets, managing the Astro+ database, and integrating data for major international projects such as WEAVE. My technical stack includes Python, SQL, and Machine Learning.
