After nine years as a Spanish language (ELE) lecturer in Italy (Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli and Università degli Studi di Salerno), I joined the Department of Innovation and Didactic Training in November 2007, specifically in the area of Language and Literature Didactics. Since then, I have served as an associate professor, assistant, assistant professor, contracted professor, and currently hold the position of Permanent Academic Staff.

Since 2018, I have been the coordinator of the aforementioned area of Language and Literature Didactics. Between 2015 and 2021, I served as the department secretary, and I currently hold the position of deputy director.

My research has focused on Children's and Young Literature (LIJ) and the use of ICT for teaching Spanish language and its literatures. I am also a specialist in the educational potential of graphic narratives. Since 2007, I have been the academic coordinator of Unicómic, the comic book conference of the University of Alicante.
