Graduated in Business Administration in 1997 and Doctor in Business Administration in 2003 (extraordinary award), he obtained his permanent position as Associate Professor at the University of Alicante in 2009. In his first years as a teaching and research staff at the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting, he focused on the research of accounting information in capital markets. As a result of these investigations, he obtained several relevant publications in national and international magazines and books. During that period, he maintained his ongoing training effort in the accounting and business field while developing a high capacity for handling large volumes of information based on the R programming language. All these knowledge and skills were transferred to his teaching where innovation was marking a constant evolution in his career. Currently, he would stand out for his strong teaching vocation as well as for his orientation towards the transfer of knowledge to companies. In the teaching section, his work has been recognized on several occasions with the seal of excellence awarded based on the DOCENTIA program while, in the transfer section, his collaboration with various local companies in search of continuous improvement is increasingly frequent. That provides feedback on the quality of the training it provides to its students. Teaching, transmitting and enjoying the process are the objectives that mark their day to day.
