I am a full time lecturer in the Department of Software and Computing Systems, at University of Alicante. I have a Phd in Computer Science also from the University of Alicante. I am a member of the Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Group of this department.

My lines of research include machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques applied to the field of sound and music. I also conduct research on blockchain technology applications.

My teaching duties include object-oriented programming, computer sound and music, sound design techniques, sound synthesis, or resource management through open licenses.

In the past I was a professional musician (modern music and jazz). Saxophonist, mostly self-taught, ocassionally still playing gigs.
