Fidel Perez Sebastian holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Virginia (USA). His research interests lie in the areas of Macroeconomics, Economic Growth and Development, and the Economics of Natural Resources. He has held research grants from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology, the Generalitat Valenciana, the European Commission, and ESRC-UKRI. He has published in, among others, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, and Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
