Manuel Pérez Molina was born in Alicante in 1982. He is a Telecommunication Engineer by Miguel Hernández University (with Extraordinary Award in this studies) since 2005, and he obtained the PhD (also with Extraordinary Award) by the same university in 2009. In addition, in 2007 he completed the first three years of the bachelor’s in mathematics by the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). In 2006 he was awarded a grant of “Formación del Profesorado Universitario (FPU)” from the Education Ministry, and he began to collaborate in research tasks in the Department of Material Science, Optics and Electronic Technology from Miguel Hernández University. In 2008 he became an Assistant Professor to the Department of Physics, System Engineering and Signal Theory from University of Alicante, where he works as an Associate Professor since 2017. In the Academic Year 2018/2019 he obtained the score of Excellent in the DOCENTIA program from University of Alicante. His research fields encompass mathematical methods in electromagnetic theory as well as chaos and bifurcation theory applied to physic systems, including mechanical and electromechanical systems. In these lines he has published more than 35 research articles in JCR journals with a recognized prestige.
