Professor at the University of Alicante in the area of Optics.

Her research work in the area of Optics has been developing for more than 30 years within the field of Holography, in particular in the study of different types of holographic materials, their characterization, and modeling to apply them to obtaining holographic optical elements and memories holographic. She has also developed part of her research in Visual Optics where she has focused on the study of intraocular lenses. In these fields, she has published about 160 articles in scientific journals indexed in the JCR, having supervised 8 doctoral theses and directed more than 10 research projects.

In terms of teaching, she teaches different subjects in the Optics and Optometry degree, Physics degree, and in the Master of Advanced Optometry and Visual Health and in the Master of Telecommunications Engineering.
