I have worked within the juvenile justice system as a social educator with young offenders since 2001. In 2010, I began my teaching career at the University of Alicante. Since 2017, I have combined this role with teaching in advanced vocational training programs as an instructor for the Generalitat Valenciana. My work focuses particularly on the programs for Gender Equality Promotion and Social Integration. I hold a PhD with international distinction and Cum Laude in Sociology from the University of Alicante. I have completed research stays at the Universities of Roehampton (London), Aix-Marseille, and Porto.My research interests focus on topics related to the sociology of deviance and the sociology of education.
