Graduated in Geography and History from the University of Alicante, he took doctoral courses in the area of ‿‿sociology of the Department of Social Sciences and Education. He collaborated in the creation of this Department and participated actively in the elaboration of the Study Plans and the implementation of the Degree in Sociology in Alicante. He has focused on teaching and academic management, has been Secretary of the Departments of Social Sciences and Education (1991-1995) and Sociology I and Education Theory (1998-1999); Has also held the position of Vice Dean of Sociology (1999-2002), Vice Dean of Sociology and Publicity (2004-2005), Vice Dean of External Practices (2013-2014) and Academic Coordinator of Employability (2014-2016) at the Faculty of Sciences Economic and Business. He was Director of the Secretariat for Internships and Student Support (2005-2012), the Student Support Center (CAE) and the University Observatory of Labor Insertion of the Vice-Rectorate of Students at the University of Alicante. He has participated in the organization of numerous seminars, conferences and congresses. He is a member of the Valencian Association of Sociology.
