Graduated in Geography and Territory Organization (2020), Master's Degree in Academic Staff of Secondary Education and High School (Specialization in Geography and History) (2021), and Master's Degree in History of Contemporary Europe (2022) from the University of Alicante.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, I was awarded a Collaboration Grant with the Department of Human Geography at the University of Alicante, funded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. I am currently a predoctoral researcher in the same department, pursuing a doctoral thesis under a Predoctoral Training Contract (FPU) from the Vice-Rectorate for Research.
I received the Extraordinary Prize for my Degree in Geography and Territory Organization (2020), along with the Academic Excellence Award from the Generalitat Valenciana (2023). My final degree and master's projects, all graded with Distinction, have earned local and national recognition, including: Best Master's Thesis in the Research Awards 2023, granted by the Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute of Culture; First Prize for Best Master's Thesis in Rural Geography (2022) by the Rural Geography Group of the Spanish Association of Geography; runner-up in the Undergraduate Thesis category of the II Youth Research Awards at the Elda University Campus (2021).
My research combines Population Geography with Urban Geography, focusing on demographic change and the process of urban shrinkage in small and medium-sized cities in the province of Alicante. Additionally, it examines the role these cities play as articulators and cohesive elements within the territory, acting as a bridge between rural areas and large urban agglomerations.
