I am a fully funded PhD candidate (FPU2024) in the Department of English Philology at the University of Alicante. I completed my BA in English Studies at the same institution in 2024, receiving the Premio Extraordinario de Grado (Award for Academic Excellence), and subsequently obtained an MA in Advanced English Studies. Since 2026, I have served as Managing Editor of the Journal of the Spanish Society for Medieval English Language and Literature (SELIM). My research focuses on English historical linguistics, with particular interest in medical and scientific writing in Middle English and its transition into Early Modern English. My doctoral thesis examines the lexis of gynecology and obstetrics in English medical texts from the late medieval and early modern periods (c. 1375-1700).
