I graduated as an architect from the School of Architecture of Alicante (2007)
and earned a Master’s Degree in Urbanism (PROURB/UFRJ, 2014) and a PhD
(IPPUR/UFRJ, 2018) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Currently
an associate lecturer in Architectural Design at the University of Alicante (since
2022).
I worked as a senior lecturer at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in the
Department of Architecture Projects at the School of Architecture and Urbanism
(2018-2022).
As a researcher, I am currently involved in the Urban Analysis Laboratory of the
Postgraduate Programme in Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de
Janeiro (LAURD-PROURB-UFRJ), and also in the Research Group in
Architectural Projects: Critical Pedagogies, Ecological Policies and Material
Practices (PAPCPEPM) at the University of Alicante. My research articles have
been published in scientific journals in architecture, anthropology and urban
studies.
As a professional, in Spain, I worked as an architect at the COR Asociados
studio and collaborated with Adriana Figueiras Arquitectos, between 2006 and
2009. From 2010 to 2022, I resided in Brazil, where I won architecture
competitions such as Morar Carioca (in 2010).
