Director of the Chair of Water of the University of Alicante and the Provincial Council of Alicante, as well as Coordinator at the University of Alicante of the Campus of Excellence of the Valencian public universities HABITAT5U "Environmental and Territorial Services". Chair of the Technical Commission of Water Board of the Provincial Council of Alicante.

Author and / or co-author of numerous national and international publications dealing with water and economy or on the management of heritage and cultural assets, among other topics. He has also been president of the 2020 National Conference of Floods, 2019 National Water Congress and Chairman of international congresses such as: Urban Growth 2018, River Basin Management 2019 and Water Resources Management 2019.
