Degree and doctorate in Catalan Philology (UA), in both cases with an extraordinary award. He is currently part of the Department of Catalan Philology at the University of Alicante. He has taught in the degrees in Translation and Interpretation, Catalan Philology and Humanities, as well as in the Diploma in Teaching, in matters of discourse analysis, language of use, medieval Catalan literature and Romance literature. He is a researcher in medieval Catalan literature, specializing in literature of the fifteenth century and its textual transmission during the sixteenth century. He has directed various interuniversity research projects on medieval and Renaissance poetry in manuscripts and printing. It has more of one hundred and fifty publications, on Catalan and Castilian cancionero poetry and his transmisión in the centuries XV, XVI, and XIX. He is the editor of the work of Joan Roís de Corella, of which he has published the mythological prose and the Lletra consolatòria, as well as several studies focused on the interpretation of these texts and others by this author. He has published in the most prestigious philological journals and has attended as a plenary speaker and guest at several specialized conferences. He is President of the Convivio Society for the Study of Cancioneros since 2021 and has been vice president of this Association (2008-2021), and has been secretary-treasurer of the Hispanic Association of Medieval Literature from 2005 to 2015. He has chaired the organizing committee of several international conferences. He is the director of the CIM website on Hispanic cancionero poetry (www.cancioneros.org) and of the Revista de Cancioneros Impresos y Manuscritos (https://rcim.ua.es/).
