Mario Martos-González was born in Ibi (Alicante) in 1996. After obtaining his BSc. (Chemistry, 2018) and MSc. (Medicinal Chemistry, 2019) degrees at the University of Alicante, he was hired as a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Electrochemistry of this same university in October 2019, position he held until May 2020.

Parallel to this, he has been conducting his PhD studies at the Department of Organic Chemistry since June 2019, working in the development of novel catalytic systems for sustainable organic synthesis under the supervision of Prof. Isidro M. Pastor.
