Teresa Martínez Quiles is Lecturer in the Department of English Philology at the University of Alicante, where she also obtained her Bachelor's Degree in 2017 and her PhD in 2024. Before working at the University of Alicante, she worked as an Adjunct Lecturer from 2019 to 2020 at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) until she obtained a contract from the Government of the Valencia Community in Spain. In addition, during her time as a PhD researcher, she completed a research stay at the University of St Andrews (United Kingdom) and another at the University of Berkeley (California). Her line of research focuses on postcolonial feminist studies, with a particular emphasis on contemporary anglophone literature written by diasporic women of colour.
