Lucas Martínez Bernabéu is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and a member of the International Economics Institute of the University of Alicante, where he carries out his research work.

His lines of research include the use of AI in optimization and classification problems, and especially the delimitation and analysis of local labor markets and other types of functional regions.
