Manuel Marco Such is Licensed in Physics Science (University of Valencia), PhD Computer Science (University of Alicante) Associate Professor at the University of Alicante, Dept. of Software and Computing Systems. On the early beginnings of his career, Manuel Marco worked as director in several institutions such as Vicerrector de Infraestructuras at the University of Alicante 1994-1997, Vicerrector de Nuevas Tecnologías at the University of Alicante 1997-2000, IT Director at Editorial Prensa Ibérica 2001-2009, IT Director at Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes 1999-2000, 2021-actuality and Director of computer Spanish courses at Instituto Cervantes 1999-2012. In addition, he has been actively involved in serial publications in the educational context. His main research interests include E-Learning, Semantic Web and Digital Libraries, where he has authored sevarals publications in national and international journals in Q1 and Q2 JCR and conferences, as well as several Intellectual Property Registers (IPR). He got his PHD in 2011 about business process modelling for digital libraries.Manuel Marco contributes a high added value in research thanks to his expertise and contact with the business world. With regards to Technology Transfer is co-founder of the Lucentia Lab S.L. Spin-off in April 2015, an EBT company participated by the University of Alicante whose objective is to facilitate the transfer of BI and Software Engineering technology produced by the research lines.
