Profesor Dolores Lozano-Castelló is Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and during 5 years was Deputy Secretary General at the Universidad de Alicante, Spain (2015/2020). After several positions as pre and postdoctoral research fellow at different Universities and research centers all around the world (USA, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom and Japan), in 2004 she got a “Ramón y Cajal” Fellowship (Spanish Ministry of Science) at the University of Alicante, Spain. Afterwards, she got a position of Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor), Universidad de Alicante. In 2006, she successfully passed the “Habilitación Nacional” to become “Profesora Titular” (Inorganic Chemistry). In 2007 she became  “Profesora Titular” of Inorganic Chemistry at the Universidad de Alicante. In 2013 she got “Acreditación Nacional” to become “Catedrática de Universidad”, becoming Catedrática de Universidad of Inorganic Chemistry in 2017.

 

She is currently invited professor at the University of Cambridge for one year (2021-2022) , and she completed a 6-month research stay at the University of Aberdeen in 2014. She has been a user of different synchrotron radiation facilities: APS at the Argonne National Laboratory (Chicago), USA; European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble, France); User at the neutron source of the ISIS facility. Ruththerford Appleton Laboratory (Oxford, UK)

 To date Dolores has published 125 JCR papers (most in Q1) receiving 6124 cites, 12 book chapters and 5 patents (h-index: 33) (69 JCR papers, 7 book chapters and 2 patents from 2012 to 2021) and has given many invited seminars and lectures at conferences and universities around the world.

She also participated in 70 research projects (30 projects from 2012 to 2021) financed by local, regional, national and European institutions, some of them public and others private. She has been principal researcher of 15 of the projects.
