Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the UA. Master's Degree in Economics and Finance at CEMFI. PhD in Business Administration and Management from the UA. Associate Professor since 2000. My research activity has focused mainly on the areas of financial econometrics, and specifically, the measurement of financial risk and investment portfolio management; and also on the valuation of financial derivatives, stock options and real options. As a result of this research activity, I have published articles in high-impact specialized journals such as the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Empirical Finance, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and the European Journal of Operational Research. I have been a member of a lot of research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture and by the Generalitat Valenciana, being in some cases the principal investigator of the project.
