Professor Antonio Jiménez-Delgado, a Technical Architect from the University of Valencia in 1991 (with highest honors) and a graduate in Sociology from the University of Alicante in 2002, earned his PhD in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, and Construction in 2008. He was Head of Production at the Spanish multinational Ferrovial S.A. Since 2000, he has been a Full Professor in the Department of Architectural Construction at the University of Alicante and Director of the AEDIFICATIO International Research Group (BUILDING: Technology, Research, and Development), which includes researchers from various fields and countries (Politecnico di Milano, Italy; Hunter College, City University of New York, and Landmark Preservation Commission; University of Havana; Pontifical Javeriana University of Bogotá, Colombia). He has been a visiting scholar and professor at European, American, and Latin American universities and institutions, including the Pontifical Javeriana University of Bogotá, Colombia (1994) and the University of Havana (1996). Politecnico di Milano, Italy (2008, 2024, 2025); Hunter College, City University of New York and Landmark Preservation Commission (2009, 2015). Director of the Master's and Doctoral Program in Building Management (2006-2008), he has participated in 7 competitive public research projects and 11 research project contracts. He has also coordinated various publications and interdisciplinary conferences.
