I have a PhD in Economics (1993) from the University of the Basque Country, where I worked until the 1992-93 academic year. The academic year 1993-94 I worked as visiting professor at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Since September 1994, I am a professor at the University of Alicante (UA). Fullbright Scholar at the University of California, Davis, from January to July 1996. Visiting Scholar at Stanford University during the 2002-03 academic year. Visiting researcher at the University of Lancaster (England) the course 2017-18. I work in two main areas, Public Economics and Behavioral and Experimental Economics.
