International PhD in Marketing, MBA, and Electronics Engineer.
My global career combines business and science, with a strong focus on transferring scientific research to technology companies. Subsequently, I founded and led for ten years in Palo Alto, California, the research centre of the world’s largest technology startup group, advising the governments of Washington, London, Sri Lanka, as well as the European Commission.
I have been an active contributor to more than 60 international scientific conferences in the areas of digital marketing and data science, the application of scientific research to startups, and deployment of machine learning for business competitiveness. I also served as Chair of the Academy of Marketing Science in the fields of technology entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and artificial intelligence. In recognition of my contributions to scientific knowledge transfer, I was awarded an Honorary Professorship.
My teaching experience includes senior appointments at the Open University London, Toulouse Business School, and the Alicante School of Marketing.
