She holds a B.A. degree  in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Alicante and a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (USA). Professor at the University of Alicante in the Department of Foundations of Economic Analysis and a member of the Inter-University Institute for Social Development and Peace, with extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate studies in the field of macroeconomics. Her research focuses on international economics and economic growth, with publications in high-impact scientific journals such as the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Development Economics, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. She has also contributed to journals in the areas of political economy and labor economics, including the European Journal of Political Economy and Investigaciones Económicas. Currently, she is CO-PI of the “Resilience, Productivity and Risk for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth” project of the PROMETEO program for research groups of excellence of the Valencian Government, she directs the research group Development, Quantitative Methods and Economic Theory, and holds the position of Vice Dean of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UA.. www
