Her teaching experience has been developed in the Faculty of Health Sciences. She is responsible for and teaches the subjects ‘Health and Nursing Care in the life cycle’ and also teaches the subject ‘Nursing Care in chronicity, dependence, geriatrics and palliative care’ of the Degree in Nursing; She is also responsible for and teaches the subjects ‘Care for Dependence and Fragility in the elderly’ of the Master's Degree in Active and Healthy Ageing.
Her research activity is mainly developed in the thematic areas of 1) Chronicity and Dependence, 2) Geriatrics and Palliative Care, 3) Teaching innovation in undergraduate and postgraduate courses (interdisciplinary simulation for the acquisition of non-technical skills in health professionals). She is the author of more than forty scientific articles, 75% of which have been published in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports. She is a member of the research groups Person-centred Care and Health Outcomes Innovation (PCC-HOI), Ageing and Communication (AgeCOM) and the Group 23 of Innovation in Care of the Institute of Health and Biomedical Research of Alicante (ISABIAL).
