In 2001 I graduated in Mathematics from the University of Valencia and in 2003 I began my professional relationship with the University of Alicante (UA) through a national plan project in the Department of Applied Mathematics, to which I have remained linked ever since. In 2005, I obtained a position as Assistant Lecturer in that department. In 2006 I defended my doctoral thesis (European Mention and Extraordinary Doctorate Award). In 2008 I obtained a position as Assistant Doctor; in 2013, as Contracted Doctor; and in 2015, as University Professor.

Over the years my work has been evenly divided between research and teaching, thus completing my training in both areas.
