Olga Francés Hernández is a Chemical Engineer and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Alicante. She is also a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Software and Computing Systems. She is a member of the Language Processing and Information Systems research group (GPLSI) at the University Institute for Computing Research.

Her research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the analysis of innovation ecosystems, with a particular interest in the application of machine learning and data analysis techniques to decision-making, knowledge transfer, and science and technology parks. Her doctoral thesis focused on the development of artificial intelligence-based technologies for analysis and decision-making in science and technology parks.

In parallel, she works in the field of knowledge transfer and the creation and development of knowledge-based companies (KBCs) at the University of Alicante’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO/OTRI). She has extensive experience in innovation management, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship, including serving as General Manager of the Alicante Science Park.

She also participates in research projects and activities related to artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, as well as in teaching, mentoring, and the evaluation of innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
