I hold a first-cycle Degree in Children’s Education (major in Physical Education) and a Degree in Physical Education and Sport Science from the University of Alicante. Before starting my PhD, I completed the UA-only programme in Personal and Sports Training, as well as an official master’s degree in Sports Performance and Health.
 
Since 2010, I have been working as a full-time primary school teacher. I have worked in a wide range of settings: Spanish-speaking schools, Valencian-speaking schools, schools in rural areas where I had an itinerant position, prisons, and centres for students with special educational needs, which is where I am based as a civil servant.
