Carmen Sarah Einsle is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management at the University of Alicante (Spain). She holds a PhD cum laude in Economics and Business with international mention and an extraordinary doctoral award.
She did pre-doctoral stays at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and at the Distance University of Madrid. She also completed a postdoctoral stay at the Centre for Advanced Studies and Training in Management and Economics at the University of Évora (Portugal), researching on the impact of mega sports events on social media. Her main lines of research are sports management, tourism and the gender perspective in sports. She is author or co-author of more than 40 scientific articles, book chapters and communications presented and defended in different congresses, mainly international, and has been a member of the scientific committee on several occasions. Her scientific articles are indexed in different databases, such as Web of Sciences, SCOPUS or Latindex.
As a lecturer, she has taught subjects, courses and lectures at various universities (University of Valencia, International University of Valencia, International University of La Rioja, Distance University of Madrid, University of Évora (Portugal), European University of Madrid), both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Furthermore, she has many years of professional experience in the field of sports marketing and tourism management.
