Graduated in Economics (1991, University of the Basque Country) and in History (2002, UNED), and Doctor in Economics (1997, University of the Basque Country). Professor of Economic History. Research areas: business history, business biographies, family business, industrial history, history of the European steel industry, economic consequences of terrorism and economic sectors such as mining, wood, electric power, shipbuilding, naval transport and military industry . 6 books, 30 book chapters and 30 articles published in national and international journals such as Business History, International Journal of Maritime History, Revista de Historia Económica, Revista de Historia Industrial, Historia Agraria and Investigaciones de Historia Económica.
