Research stays in New Zealand, Sweden, Scotland, USA, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico. Since 1992 professor of the Department of Ecology of the University of Alicante, with teaching in Ecology, Biogeochemistry, Modeling of Ecological Systems and Management, Restoration of Ecosystems, Workshop of scientific writing and Restoration of Arid Environments, among others. Author of +180 scientific and dissemination works, of which +80 articles in international journals (SCI). He has directed 11 doctoral theses and 14 Master's theses. Interest in biogeochemistry and productivity of terrestrial ecosystems and their application to management: forest plantations, desertification and ecosystem restoration.
