She is Full Professor of Public Relations at the Department of Communication and Social Psychology of the University of Alicante, of which she is also Director.

Her lines of research and scientific contributions are developed in the research group “Public Relations, Social Responsibility and Sustainability: Responsible and Sustainable Communication with Specialized Audiences and Minorities (RPRSS)” which she leads at the same university since 2005 and whose transfer has resulted in scientific articles and awareness campaigns, awareness and visibility of social problems, such as the generation of knowledge of epilepsy, prevention of bullying, responsible treatment of intellectual disability in the media or the Alicante Smart Society campaign for responsible leisure and consumption during the Covid.

She was academic director of the Title Expert-Specialist in work skills in supported employment environments at the University of Alicante for young people with intellectual disabilities of the UniDiversity program of the ONCE Foundation from 2017-2018 and until 2021-2022.

She is Vice President of the Association of Researchers in Public Relations (AIRP) to which she has belonged since its origins in 2004, and Director of the University Excellence Collection on Public Relations to the Best Undergraduate and Official University Master's Degree Papers since 2014 of the AIRP.

She is a member of the Consell de l'Audiovisual de la Comunitat Valenciana.

She has made numerous contributions to national and international congresses and participates as a speaker at various events.

In addition, she chairs the Epilepsy Association of the Province of Alicante and is a member of the Spanish League against epilepsy and other disabling disorders.
