Finished licenciature in chemistry in 1987 and doctorate degree in 1993, at Alicante University. As a phD student realized a 3 moths stay at the Atmspheric Environment Service (Toronto, Canada). As a Postdoc, from 1993 to 1996, worked at several projects in the ecology departament at Alicante University and from 1996 to 2001 in the CEAM atmospheric research fundation (Paterna, Valencia).
The experience as teacher in the university of Alicante was iniciated in 1996 as a asociated partial time teacher becomming in 2001 fultime teacher. The teaching subjects are related to Chemical Engineering and Environment in the Degrees of Marine Sciences and Chemical Engineer and the masters of Sustainable Management and Water Technologies, Environmental and Sustainable Chemistry and Master of Chemical Engineering. In 2018 reaches degree of professor in environmental technology. Has directed of two doctoral theses, 8 master theses and several degree theses.
The lines of research are: analysis of pollutants and water quality and is part of the research groups: Waste, pyrolysis and combustion, Water resources and sustainable development of the Department of Chemical Engineering. Has participate in more than 50 research projects and contracts, being the principal investigator of 20 of them. She has more than 30 scientific publications (JCR) an H index of 16.
