I am a specialist in Internal Medicine, trained through the MIR program at the Dr. Balmis University General Hospital in Alicante, where I completed my residency, including several rotations at national and international hospitals. After finishing my specialist training, I continued practicing as an internist at the same hospital until 2020. Since then, I have been working at the Sant Vicent del Raspeig Hospital, where my clinical practice focuses on comprehensive care for adult patients with chronic conditions, the Antibiotic Stewardship Program (PROA), and the hospital’s Fibromyalgia Unit.
Throughout my research career, I have participated in a wide range of research studies, both as a researcher and as a research subject, which has allowed me to learn about different methodologies and scientific approaches from multiple perspectives. I have been a visiting researcher at both national and international centers, which has enriched my research experience. I have several
publications in specialized scientific journals, as well as authored book chapters. My work has been recognized with various accolades, including 4th prize in the Archimedes University Competition for Introduction to Scientific Research (2005), completing my PhD in Clinical Medicine with an international doctoral certification and a cum laude distinction, and 2nd prize for Best
Doctoral Thesis awarded by the Alicante Professional Association of Physicians (2015).
As for my teaching activity, I have delivered classes in training courses and participated as a speaker in talks and workshops. Moreover, I am regularly involved in clinical sessions and seminars within the hospital environment.
