David Bru graduated in Civil Engineering in 2007. post graduated in Master in Engineering of materials, water and soil in 2011 and post graduated in Master of Civil Engineering in 2012 from University of Alicante. From October of 2010 he worked as a researcher at department of civil engineering, Universtiy of Alicante. In 2014 he won the PhD scholaship from University of Alicante, with research concerning the study of the dynamic behaviour of slender masonry structures versus seismic actions. The main research interest are in the field of Vibration Engineering. He is co-author of overall 30 publications, including 10 international journal papers and has served as reviewer for 3 international journals. The teaching activity is spent on the courses of Mechanics of Continuous Media, Theory of Structures, Sesimoresistant Construction Regulations, Dynamic behaviour of civil buildings, Concrete Buildings and Composite Materials. He has been involved in several research projects (VIGROB-212, PIA182015-1, APE/2014/009, GV/2014/079, ACIE 13-07). He is / has been involved in several national and international cooperation activities with research groups (GRESMES group from Spain and DICEA group from Italy).
