University Professor since 2024 in the Department of Information Technology and Computing at the University of Alicante. Until 2004 I worked in private enterprise and as a freelance in ERP and CMR development. In 2004 I obtained a research grant at the UA, in 2006 I got a position as Assistant Professor, in 2013 I became Assistant Doctor and in 2016 I got a position as Associate Professor until 2023 and Permanent Professor until 2024. I am a member of the research group 'GrupoM: Redes y Middleware' and member of the Instituto Universitario de Investigaciones en Informática of the University of Alicante, head of studies of the Multimedia Engineering Degree since 2018 and director of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity since 2021. I am technological director of the Smart University project from 2014 to 2021 (569,000€ local investment) and from 2022 to the present with investment from Next Generation funds (890,000€). Since 2024 I am PI of the project "Preventive maintenance of digital infrastructures through the application of Artificial Intelligence for the diagnosis and prediction of anomalies (PreMAI)" funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. I have published 88 scientific or technical publications with 16 JCR and 64 papers published in conferences. I have participated in 46 competitive R&D&I projects at European, national, regional and local level, and in 110 non-competitive projects with companies and administrations. I have supervised 3 theses, 150 bachelor's/master's degree final projects, and I have obtained 2 six-year research periods, I have a patent and registered software in operation.
