Principal Investigator (PI) of the Horizon Europe RELISH Project (http://relisheu.org) on the future of European gastronomy and identity by 2050, as the lead (FUTURLAB) of the WP9 "Future Scenarios" work package, and Co-Director, along with Chair Professor of Chemical Engineering Andrés Fullana (E4CE-Engineering for Circular Economy), of the sociological research of the National R&D&I Project REBORN on plastic recycling, user experience (UX), and social acceptance of the circular economy.

Visiting Research Professor of the CLICCS-Climate Change and Society cluster of excellence, led by the University of Hamburg (UHH) and the Max Planck Institute, since 2020. Founding Director of FUTURLAB-Foresight Laboratory, integrated into relevant international networks such as LASIN (Latin American Social Innovation Network), SEASIN (South East Social Innovation Network) –both funded by the European Commission– and the CYTED Network of Foresight and Innovation (ECLAC/ILPES). Director of INNODAY, a high-level international event on innovation culture, since 2009.
