Paula Asensi is a Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Alicante, Spain. She holds a BA in English Studies from the same university and an MA in Anglophone Literature and Culture from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her PhD, funded by the regional Spanish government and European Funds, focuses on the representation of women artists in American literature and culture at the turn of the twentieth century. Her research interests include the Künstlerroman genre, spatial studies and material culture. During her postgraduate period, she has been a visiting researcher at the Huntington Library (California), the Houghton Library (Harvard University) and Cardiff University. Since 2024, she is part of the Executive Board of ASYRAS (Association of Young Researchers on Anglophone Studies).
