Enric Artal is a PhD student in the Doctoral Programme in Philosophy and Arts at the University of Alicante. After graduating in English Studies at the University of València, he completed a Master’s degree in Spanish and English as Second/Foreign Languages at the University of Alicante. During this programme, he was awarded a research initiation grant (AII2024), which allowed him to collaborate with the GRIALE research group as a grant holder. He is currently a predoctoral researcher at the University of Alicante through a predoctoral training contract (UAFPU2025) and have joined GRIALE as a member. He is carrying out his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Leonor Ruiz Gurillo and Esther Linares Bernabéu, focusing on humorous crowdwork from a pragmatic-discursive perspective. Additionally, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Master's degree in Academic Staff of Secondary Education and High School, Vocational Training and Language Teaching at this university.
