Degree in Economics from the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid). Master's degree in  Economics from CEMFI. PhD in Economics from Universidad Complutense and CEMFI. Since 2009, I have been a member of the Department of Economics FAE (Fundamentos del Análisis Económico) at the University of Alicante. My research activities focus on the areas of Applied Econometrics, Microeconometrics, and Labor Economics. As a result of this research activity, I have published articles in high-impact journals such as The Economic Journal, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Social Science & Medicine, Applied Soft Computing, and Economics of Education Review. I have been a member of many competitive research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Generalitat Valenciana, and the Ramón Areces Foundation.
