Director of the Institute of Water and Environmental Sciences of the University of Alicante. Professor of Administrative Law from 2001 to the present.Director of the COX–UA Institutional Chair on Water and Energy. Director of the UA Doctoral Program in Water and Sustainable Development. He has been a lawyer for the Ombudsman of the Valencian Community between 2002 and 2009, and a visiting professor at numerous universities of international prestige: Centro de la Complutense at Harvard (USA), Pace Law School (USA), Universitá degli studi di Padova (ITALY ), and UNIVALI (Brazil). His main lines of research are: Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Water Law, Institutions for the defense of citizens' rights before the Public Administration, and Cultural Heritage Protection Law.
