J. David Ballester-Berman received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Technical University of València in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Alacant (UA) in 2007. From 2000 to 2001 he worked as a support engineer in the development of software tools for the planning and design of terrestrial digital television systems. Since 2001 he has been with the Signals, Systems and Telecommunication Group (UA) carrying out educational and research tasks. His research interests include SAR polarimetry and polarimetric SAR interferometry techniques for earth observation applications. He served as Program Chair in the 3rd International Conference on Active Learning in Engineering Education - PAEE/ALE'2022.
