General Competences (CG)

  • CG-2 : Capacity for spatial vision and knowledge of graphic representation techniques, both using traditional metric and descriptive geometry methods and by means of computer-aided design applications.
  • CG-3 : Basic understanding of the use and programming of computers, operating systems, databases and computer programs applicable to engineering.
  • CG-6 : Suitable understanding of the concept of companies, institutional and legal framework of companies. Company organisation and management.

 

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT-14 : Capacity for self-criticism needed to analyse and improve the quality of projects.
  • CT-7 : Capacity for oral and written exposition.
  • CT-8 : Capacity to plan tasks and commit oneself to satisfying goals and deadlines.
  • CT-9 : Capacity for group work.

 

Specific Competences (Civil Branch)

  • CE-1 : Understand the topographical techniques used to obtain measurements, create plans, establish layouts, take defined geometries to the terrain and control movements of structures and earth works.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should have those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
  • CB-4 : Students should be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
