Course context for academic year 2010-11

La asignatura pretende situar al alumno de Primer Curso, recién llegado a la Universidad, y que se va a encontrar con una carga lectiva intensa en cuestiones básicas, ante el mundo profesional y empresarial en el que se va a desarrollar la actividad del Ingeniero Civil. El Ingeniero Civil será un hombre o mujer de Empresa, ya que es en este contexto donde desempeñará su trabajo. Por lo tanto el mundo de la Empresa, y sobre todo las del sector de la Construcción, su organización y su funcionamiento será objeto prioritario de la asignatura, sin olvidar el papel fundamental que el Ingeniero Civil va a desempeñar en ellas.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG-6 : Suitable understanding of the concept of companies, institutional and legal framework of companies. Company organisation and management.

 

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT-14 : Capacity for self-criticism needed to analyse and improve the quality of projects.
  • CT-9 : Capacity for group work.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-1 : Students should show they possess and understand knowledge in a field of study that continues from general secondary education and is usually found at a level which, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes certain aspects that involve knowledge arising from the cutting edge of their field of study.
  • CB-2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should have those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
