Course context for academic year 2014-15

This course is the first in the sequence in Microeconomics and it is followed by the Intermediate Microeconomics course in the first semester of second year. It falls within the subject of Economic Analysis.
The objective of this course is to provide students with the basic knowledge to understand and analyze economic problems. It also teaches them to use analytical reasoning by building simple models to pose and solve economic problems.
