General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Capacity to work together with individuals, families, groups, organisations and communities to evaluate their needs and circumstances.
  • CG2 : Analyse problem situations, plan, develop, execute, review and evaluate the practice of Social Work with individuals, families, groups, organisations, communities and other professionals.
  • CG3 : Support others so that they can express their needs, points of view and circumstances.
  • CG4 : Act preventively to avoid situations that may be hazardous for the general public, for oneself and for one's work colleagues.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2010-11

1.1- Objetivo general:  Contribuir a que los alumnos/as posean un adecuado nivel de conocimientos que les permita comprender las distintas dimensiones y rasgos del desarrollo humano y la importancia que juega su conocimiento en su futura actividad profesional dentro del trabajo social. 
1.2.- Objetivos específicos
1. Que el alumnado, desde una aportación teórica y conceptual bien estructurada de la psicología del desarrollo, pueda formarse una visión global de los procesos de cambio evolutivos y su influencia en el proceso de socialización. 
2. Que el alumnado conozca la metodología propia, las técnicas de representación y análisis de datos de las principales orientaciones teóricas y metodológicas existentes, como base para la iniciación de actividades de investigación en el campo de la psicología evolutiva. 
3. Que el alumnado conozca y comprenda los aspectos más importantes de las distintas dimensiones del desarrollo (físico, cognitivo, emocional, social) no como dimensiones aisladas, sino como aspectos que están interaccionando y construyendo identidades. 
4. Que el alumnado tome conciencia de la necesidad de una formación permanente como vía adecuada de desarrollo profesional.
