This course combines health economics and labor economics (and, more specifically, personnel economics). The course presents fundamental economic theory and modelling behind management decisions taken in healthcare organizations. The general approach will structure management decision around the analysis of implied tradeoffs and constraints on available resources. Specific case studies related to health care organizations will be used throughout the course.
