Course context for academic year 2021-22

En esta asignatura se introduce al alumno en el ámbito de la tecnología óptica aplicada a la formación y adquisición de imagen, esencial en una amplia gama de campos científicos y profesionales tales como visión por computador o imagen médica. Se hará especial énfasis en la modelización del sistema de formación de imagen utilizando herramientas de teoría de la señal, lo que permitirá evaluar diversos parámetros que influyen en la calidad en la captación de imágenes. Se analizarán los beneficios que aportan los diversos tipos de iluminación, abordando también cuestiones de fotometría y colorimetría, además de evaluar técnicas de imagen no convencionales. La asignatura tendrá un marcado carácter práctico, mediante trabajo de laboratorio y realizando simulaciones en ordenador.
